Into the Holiday Season

Hi Friends,

I guess you know you’re getting older, wiser or busier when December 2015 arrives, and January 2015 was just yesterday…..For argument’s sake, we’ll say WISER.

Here’s some info regarding my upcoming music schedule:

Friday, December 4th, Yarnell Family Diner, 5pm-8pm – Hope you can come hang out, eat and enjoy the tunes!

Saturday, December 5th, Crown King Saloon, Crown King, AZ, Festivities begin at 5pm with Christmas Music and Entertainment by yours truly from 6pm – 10pm. This is the Crown King annual parade of lights, with Santa and lots of family/children fun!

Sunday, December 6th, I have the pleasure of being the DJ for a Wedding Reception at the Prescott VFW. This is my first Disk Jockey deal in Arizona, so I’m excited to get to it!

Next Wednesday, December 9th, I have been hired for a private Christmas Party in Wickenburg. I love private parties – they’re different in an intimate setting sort of way.

Friday, December 11th, I’ll be the entertainment at the Wickenburg Elks Lodge from 6pm – 9pm; Walt Eckes will bring on the music at the Yarnell Family Diner from 5pm-8pm. You have choices, but we know you really want to do both. So DO IT!

Also, don’t forget to purchase the “Strong, Resilient Women of Yarnell 2016 Calendar” to benefit the Weaver Mountain People Who Care Resources. I am excited to be Miss December! The price is $30 per calendar for a wonderful cause. Shoot an email to me here: and I’ll see to it that you get one.

I’ll send you some more updates next week. Until then, stay warm and ramp up for holiday fun!

Denise

Where Did November Go?

Hi, Friends:

Where did November go? This year has been unbelievable fast, at least for me!

Yarnell is a pretty busy place, in case you haven’t noticed. Lou and I wish you and yours a Happy Thanksgiving Day. Try not to eat so much that you have to roll instead of rock!

Speaking of Thanksgiving, the American Legion Post 79 hosts a Thanksgiving Dinner which is open to the public tomorrow on Thursday, November 26th from 12 noon – 4pm. It’s the whole deal – turkey and fixin’s!

Friday, November 27th, Yarnell Diner, 5pm-8pm – Happy Day after Thanksgiving. Yes, you are full from Turkey Day but you must have some dancing in you. Work off those holiday calories dancing to the tunes of Manzanita Road.

Saturday, November 28th, Wickenburg Elks, 5pm – ? I’ll be the entertainment for a Roper Party. There was a scheduling error, and I thought this was last Saturday, but it’s this coming Saturday instead. You are welcome to join us as our guests. Let me know if you’re coming! It’ll be a blast.

Friday, December 4th, Yarnell Family Diner, 5pm-8pm – Yours truly will bring on the music, you bring the bottles and your happy Friday selves.

Saturday, December 5th, Crown King Saloon, 5pm – ? –Join us in Crown King for the Parade of Lights, a visit from Santa, Fire Station Chili Dinner and Music by me. Last year was so fun. Hope you can make it!

A reminder from our social queen, Leah Tidey: And don’t forget – Tai Chi at the Presbyterian Church M/W/Sat at 9am; Yoga 8am on Tue at the Blue Barn.

We’ll give you more to come next week!

Blessings and remember: The giver should never remember; the receiver should never forget.
