Midway Through Winter

Hello, my Yarnell Cohorts – and Cohorts outside of Yarnell too!

Just your weekly entertainment guide, here, focusing on music venues, which almost certainly include food & drink….and especially friends & fun!

1. This Friday night at the Yarnell Family Diner – February 3rd! A rescheduled January Birthday Party will see me as your entertainer, trivia questions and dancing if you would like. I play 5pm – 8pm, the party starts at 6pm

We will celebrate the birthdays of:
Carolyn Sands – Jan 2
Diane Tackett – Jan 3
Michael Quinones – Jan 7
Cliff Dupuy – Jan 10
Rowle Simmons – Yavapai County Board of Supervisors – Jan 11
Barb Schlegel – Jan 17
Mary Skalkoyannis – Jan 24

2. Friday night February 10th, 5pm – Yarnell’s own Walt Eckes, “Strings Attached” will provide your entertainment. The usual GREAT time to be had by all.

3. Also Friday night February 10th – 6:00pm, I will be playing at the Wickenburg Elks Lodge 2160. They serve dinner restaurant style every Friday night. If you’re cruisin’ that way, stop in and say hi. 122 N Frontier St, Wickenburg, AZ 85390 – Phone: (928) 684-7714 – Call to see what’s for dinner.

4. Tuesday, February 14th – Yarnell Family Diner is hosting a Prime Rib Valentine’s Dinner. I will be playing – but this is different than our Friday night parties. I will be creating a romantic AMBIENCE, ooh-la-la…if you catch what I’m throwing. Call the Diner for dining options, (928) 427-9656, and the music starts at 5pm. Wear something – RED! Or maybe PINK!

5. Friday, February 17th – Third Friday at the Diner is BIRTHDAY night! This one’s for the February babies. 6pm party, 5pm music starts. Happy Birthday to:
Phillip Snyder Feb. 1st
Walt Eckes Feb. 4th
Wayne Lantrip Feb. 12th
Gerald Montgomery Feb. 16th
Chaz Shane Feb. 21st
Samir Rafeedie Feb. 21st
Cody Wilson Feb. 25th
Chuck Tidey Feb. 28th

6. Friday, February 24th – Manzanita Road will rock your dinner with some amazing American Folk tunes, and you won’t be disappointed. Another great time from 5pm – 8pm

There’s the “Open to the Public” rundown of local talent music events. And I was correct, all of them involve food and drink, friends and fun.

Also, check the Yarnell Events Facebook Page https://www.facebook.com/YVPChamber/– I’m working better to keep it updated. The Chamber website has events: http://visitweavermountains.com

See you soon,
Denise
