Mid November Memo

Hello, Friends and Neighbors:

Expecting a chilly spell the next few days; and the super moon was spectacular!  Firstly, I want to make sure you stay informed about ALL Yarnell Area events.  If you haven’t already, make sure you are on Leah Tidey’s email list. She sends out a full scope of fun email blast once per week. Since my blast focuses on music/entertainment, you might want to learn of other events. Send a note to mail2leahtidey@gmail.com.

Here’s some highlights of upcoming opportunities:

Tonight, Wed, Nov 16 – Chamber of Commerce elections at 5:30 at the Community Center.  A new board will be elected so come and vote. There are 5 positions available and nominations will be taken from the floor.  www.y-pvchamber.com.

Fri, Nov 18 – Birthday Night at the Yarnell Family Diner.  All you November birthday babies come and enjoy entertainment by yours truly, chow down on fish and chips, dance off the fish and chips and finish the evening with a FREE dessert to celebrate your birthday.  5-8pm. Happy Birthday to:

Sat, Nov 19 – Peeples Valley-Yarnell Historical Society presentation about “Big Nose Kate.” 2pm.  Old Peeples Valley Schoolhouse.  FREE. Light refreshments and beverages. 928-427-0207.

Thurs, Nov 24 – HAPPY THANKSGIVING DAY!!  The American Legion is again offering a FREE Community Appreciation Dinner from noon – 4pm.  Turkey dinner with all the fixings.  Donations accepted.  No take-out dinners.  If you’d like to help with this wonderful event, with donated turkeys or donated helping hands, please call 928-427-3735.

Fri, Nov 25 – Manzanita Road entertains at the Yarnell Family Diner.
