“March” to a Different Drummer

Happy Thursday, Friends!

Well, it sure does seem that time is flying. I feel like we just had Christmas/New Year and BLAM – heading into mid-March. What’s that all about? SLOW DOWN….In fact you could slow down and take a social break, while enjoying some great music.

In this newsletter, I’m going to highlight the music and social events coming up, with entertainment by Yours Truly. I hope to see you very soon!

Tomorrow, FRIDAY, March 11, 2016, 5:30 – 8:30pm Elks Lodge, Wickenburg. Dinner and dancing is a big part of this! If you’re not an Elk’s Member, come as our guest. Just say you’re with Denise & Lou. It’s Fun!

Tomorrow, FRIDAY, March 11, 2016, 5pm – 8pm Yarnell Family Diner features all you can eat Cod, and Music by “Strings Attached”, Yarnell’s own Walt Eckes.

***I have several private parties to play, so I won’t post those since they’re closed to the public. But the reason I mention it – I would LOVE to play at you’re private gathering. Keep me in mind! I can guarantee a reasonable price, and a good time for your guests.

FRIDAY, March 18, 2016, 5pm – 8pm – Yarnell Family Diner – THIRD FRIDAY BIRTHDAY NIGHT! Shout out to our birthday babies:

Joyce Linnerud – Mar. 5
Nancy Kays Tschikof – Mar. 5
Sandi Tasche Duncan – Mar. 8
Michelle Jacobson – Mar. 16
Chris Veller – Mar. 17
Kenny Wayne – Mar. 23
Bill Chaplin – Mar. 24
Bob Brandon – Mar. 30

I don’t know about all of the birthday babies, but I’m impressed with Joyce Linnerud, who turned 80 last Saturday, and looks at least 15 years younger than my grandma did it 80. Don’t know how she does that! Happy 80th, Joyce. Congratulations for living a clean and productive life, and STILL kickin’ it! Hope you and Doug will join us on March 18th.

FRIDAY, March 25th, 5pm – 8pm – Yarnell Family Diner, featuring Manzanita Road as the awesome entertainment.

THURSDAY, March 31st, 6pm – 9pm – I have the privilege of playing a Fundraiser in Scottsdale, and YES you may attend! This is a worthy cause, helping young, single pregnant mommies to get the care they need. Hosted by Maggie’s Place, and here are the details: http://www.maggiesplace.org/miracle-of-motherhood/

FRIDAY, April 1st – 5pm -8pm – Yarnell Family Diner, You’re stuck with me!

SATURDAY, April 2, 2016 – 5pm -8pm Peeples Valley Fire Dinner Dance at the Model Creek School! This is a wonderful way to Support the Peeples Valley Fire Auxiliary, as they are the supporting arm for the fire department. Believe me, I totally understand the need for fundraising Auxiliaries….Here’s the details: I will entertain you! Tickets are $15 per person. Full service dinner includes Roast Pork Loin, potatoes, gravy, basil carrots, salad and red velvet cupcakes. Call Marcie Theokas at 623-910-0338 or Judy Garner at 928-899-7355. You must purchase tickets in advance, as they will not be available at the door.

Okay, we’ll see you there!

Denise
