Revving Up 2017

Happy New Year, Friends!

2016 sure did fly by. I enjoyed a wonderful holiday week visiting my daughter in New Jersey. Afterwards, it was my pleasure to play at American Legion Post 79 on New Year’s Eve. The place was hoppin’ packed; all had a great time.

The month of January holds many music events for me, though many are not for public attendance. The private party scene has picked up – NICE!

So, here is the scoop for the next couple weeks. You have local or out of town options:

1. Friday, January 6th – 5:30pm til 8:30pm: I am performing at Prescott Valley Elks Lodge 330 for their Friday Dinner. Huge dance floor and fun people! If you’re up that way, stop in as our guest.

2. Friday, January 6th – 5pm til 8pm: Manzanita Road at the Yarnell Family Diner.

3. Friday, January 13th – 6pm – 9pm: I will play at the Wickenburg Elks Lodge 2160 for their Friday Dinner. Again, you may attend as our guest if you are not a member. Lou will sign you in!

4. Friday, January 13th – 5pm til 8pm: Walt Eckes at the Yarnell Family Diner.

5. Friday, January 20th – 5pm til 8pm: BIRTHDAY NIGHT! Yarnell Family Diner.

Happy January Birthday to:
Carolyn Sands – Jan 2
Diane Tackett – Jan 3
Cliff Dupuy – Jan 10
Barb Schlegel – Jan 17
Mary Skalkoyannis – Jan 24
Rowle Simmons – Yavapai County Board of Supervisors

Important! Not all Birthday Babies are on my email subscription to receive this invitation. I am sure there are more birthdays in January, of which I am not aware.

Spread the word. Birthday night gives free dessert to those with a birthday that month. Also, we do Trivia Questions provided by Leah Tidey. In short, this is a pretty fun night every 3rd Friday.

Last, but certainly not least:

Friday, January 27th – A wonderful musical duo is coming to Yarnell again, to benefit the Yarnell Fire Auxiliary. Acoustic Eidolon will perform at the Yarnell Community Presbyterian Church from 7pm to 9pm. Check them out at www.acousticeidolon.com. Tickets in advance are $15 each or 2 for $25; at the door they are $20 each. Visit the Yarnell Fire Administration building and see me for tickets. Also, Linda Ma and Leah Tidey can provide tickets.

We trust you are all healthy and well, enjoying life to the fullest.

Warm Wishes for the New Year,
Denise & Lou
